Sales Coaching

You carry a number.
You deserve a coach.

Sales coaching for BDRs and AEs from Mike Petroskey. 1:1 sessions and daily office hours. Bring a real deal, a real call, or a real problem.

Two Ways to Work With Mike

Pick what fits right now.

1:1 Session

45 minutes. Private. Scheduled.

You book it, you set the agenda. Bring a deal that has stalled, a call you want to break down, or a question you cannot get a straight answer on. Mike will reach out to confirm a time.

Office Hours

Monday through Friday, 12 to 1pm MST.

Live, streaming format. Drop in with a question or just listen while other reps work through their situations. No appointment. No registration. Show up when you need it.

What You Can Bring

Come with something real.

A stalled deal

Three-month procurement loops. Buyers who went dark after a good call. Champions who stopped advocating. Bring the context and work through it live.

A cold call or email

Something that is not landing. A sequence with no replies. An objection you keep hearing. Work through what is actually happening and build something that works.

A career question

Whether to take the offer. How to ask for more territory. When to move from BDR to AE. Questions that actually matter to your trajectory.

About Mike

Started making cold calls.
Ended up running revenue.

Demand gen rep at Compellent in 2009. CRO at Alta Vista in 2025. Every seat in between. He has cold-called into accounts that had never heard of the company. He has managed the BDR who could not get a meeting. He coaches from both sides.

Why This Exists

Nobody coached me.
I am fixing that.

When I was a BDR at Compellent making cold calls into enterprise accounts nobody had heard of, I did not have anyone to ask. No mentor, no coach. Just trial and error. This is the resource I wish had existed.

Why coaching and not a course

Sales courses teach frameworks. The problem is your prospect did not read the framework. They have a specific objection, a specific org chart, a specific timeline, and the framework does not cover the specific thing you are stuck on right now.

Coaching works on the actual situation in front of you. You bring your deal, your call, your real problem. We talk through it. That is different from a module on handling objections that applies to nobody in particular.

Who this is for

BDRs who want to get better before anyone notices they need to. AEs who are carrying real quota and do not have time for advice that does not apply to their deal. Reps who are good at their jobs and want to get better at the parts that are still hard.

Mike got lucky. The managers he worked for actually taught him things: how to think through a deal, how to handle a hard conversation, how to get better. Not everyone gets that. This is his way of passing it on.
